Two of Schatzberg’s most beloved films will screen: “Honeysuckle Rose” (1980) starring Willie Nelson and Dyan Cannon, and “Scarecrow” (1973) starring Gene Hackman and Al Pacino.

Schatzberg will introduce “Honeysuckle Rose” at 1:00 pm and take part in a Q&A following the 3:30 pm screening of “Scarecrow” to be moderated by Bob Dylan Center Director Steven Jenkins. Tickets for the double feature are $20 for Members of the Bob Dylan Center and Circle Cinema, and $25 for general admission. Tickets to just “Honeysuckle Rose” or “Scarecrow” are $12 for Members of the Bob Dylan Center and Circle Cinema, $15 for general admission.

The maverick filmmaker’s equally acclaimed work as a photographer is celebrated in “Jerry Schatzberg: 25th and Park,” the inaugural exhibition in the Bob Dylan Center’s Creators Gallery, running through December 31, 2022. This retrospective of photographs taken by Schatzberg in and around his New York City studio throughout the 1960s includes iconic images of Bob Dylan, Aretha Franklin, Jimi Hendrix, Mick Jagger, Andy Warhol, Catherine Deneuve and other cultural luminaries.
