Circle Cinema Announces Temporary Closure Effective July 8th

In light of the continued rise in COVID-19 cases throughout Tulsa and Oklahoma, Circle Cinema will be closing again for the safety of our staff and guests effective July 8. Despite implementing safety measures and following guidelines recommended by Oklahoma Department of Commerce, Oklahoma State Health Department, Tulsa Health Department and the Centers for Disease Control, we cannot in good conscience remain open in a time of increased health risk. We will be closing until at least August 7, with continued reevaluation through monitoring case numbers and community health factors.

We truly appreciate Tulsa’s support during our initial closure March 16 through June 18 and since our short-lived reopening on June 19. We look forward to healthy days in the future when we can once again be presenting films and events in our historic cinema. Until then, we will continue offering watch-at-home programming through Virtual Screening rentals and free digital content. If you would like to join those who have supported the nonprofit Circle Cinema through donations, gift card purchases, and membership contributions, please visit CircleCinema.org for more information.

In the meantime, we hope that everyone will continue to stay safe and healthy. Please wear a mask in public, wash your hands thoroughly and often, and practice social distancing.
