The Battle Of Okinawa – FREE Virtual Screening Event, 75th Anniversary – Now Showing

June 22, 1945, marked the last day of the last major battle in WWII. To commemorate the date and honor the sacrifice and service of all veterans, Circle Cinema will present two FREE archival documentaries on our YouTube page on Monday, June 22.

The program will also feature bonus material of House Organist and Army veteran Phil Judkins playing military anthems on Circle’s restored 1928 theatre organ, a display of flags from each branch of the military including the Medal Of Honor flag courtesy of the Albert E. Schwab Detachment 857 of the Marine Corps League,

Keith Myers Traveling Military Museum presents authentic uniforms and equipment from Oklahoma veterans who were part of the Okinawa Invasion. A medical display will be shown as a special tribute to the brave and unwavering WWII Army medics and Navy corpsmen.
