The Battle Of Okinawa – 75th Anniversary – Monday, June 22nd – FREE documentary screenings at 2pm only.

Codenamed Operation Iceberg, this was the last major battle of WWII, and one of the bloodiest, fought on the island of Okinawa by United States Marine and Army forces against the Imperial Japanese Army.

Program will be 2 short documentary films: The Fleet That Came to Stay (24min, black & white) – Produced in 1945 by the US Navy and 6th Marine Division on Okinawa (52min, color) – Produced in 1945 by the US Marine Corps.

Keith Myers Traveling Military Museum will also be on display for guests to view.
