About the Artist

An avid photographer since childhood, Charles Elmore's photography blurs the line between everyday life and cinematic imagery. Working as a Camera Operator and Cinematographer in the Oklahoma industry for over 20 years, Charles has been carrying along his stills camera, capturing the sublime moments that happen on-set before and after "Action" and "Cut!". From Sterlin Harjo's groundbreaking "MEKKO" to the critics darling "The Lowdown," and more than two dozen features, TV series, short films and more in between, Charles has trained his lens on the convergence of Oklahoma and Hollywood, crafting images that celebrate the Oklahoma Film Industry.
