ABOUT THE EVENT
Kids Sandbox: Student Script Live Reading
Our 2025 Circle Cinema Film Festival survey made it clear: families want more space for kids at our festivals. We’re thrilled to bring that feedback to life during the 918 Day Film Festival by spotlighting the future of Oklahoma film, our students, through a special Circle Cinema Sandbox edition.
Founded in 2025 by actor-producer PJ Sosko, the Circle Cinema Sandbox has become a monthly favorite, inspired by PJ’s time with Naked Angels’ “Tuesdays @ 9” in New York. Each month, PJ selects six short scripts that professional actors perform live, turning Circle's Screen 2 into a stage.
This Kids Sandbox follows the same format, with one exciting twist: the scripts are written by students. Six selections will be read live by professional actors.
