Sponsored by Black Vibe Tulsa, with support from Play Tulsa Music. Presented in support of Black History Month.

Come early for each Black Love film and enjoy live music from 6:00-7:30p by Tulsa R&B singer OmaleyB! Presented as part of our February Sweetheart Happy Hours, OmaleyB will perform live in the Gallery before the film with special movie-themed cocktails on sale at the bar.

The series begins with the 2000 classic "Love & Basketball." Also screening will be "Love Jones" as a Gal-entine's Day special on Tue 2/14, with titles for Thu 2/9, Thu 2/16, and Thu 2/23 to be announced soon.

About the film: Monica (Sanaa Lathan) and Quincy (Omar Epps) are two childhood friends who both aspire to be professional basketball players. Quincy, whose father, Zeke (Dennis Haysbert), plays for the Los Angeles Clippers, is a natural talent and a born leader. Monica is ferociously competitive but sometimes becomes overly emotional on the court. Over the years, the two begin to fall for each other, but their separate paths to basketball stardom threaten to pull them apart.
