RUN TIME

Join us on Fri 6/6, 2pm for Circle's annual commemoration of D-Day with a FREE documentary screening and more as we thank all veterans for their service. Romney Nesbitt, portrait artist, will be in the lobby before the film offering free portrait drawings for any veteran. Each 9 x 12” drawing takes about twelve minutes and portraits are drawn first-come first-served. There is no charge for the portrait.

Tulsa’s Josh Starks (US Army Combat Veteran, Vice Commander of Tulsa VFW Post 577) will introduce the film.

Before the film screening, we will show special video from a previous D-Day commemoration with a presentation of the colors and anthems for each armed service branch played on Circle's 1928 theater organ by the late Phil Judkins.

Nominated for the Best Documentary Feature Oscar in 1994, "D-Day Remembered" is a powerful recounting of the invasion of Normandy in World War II, using rare archival films and pictures from British, American, and German archives. The narrator provides the overall continuity, but the voices of over 50 participants who were involved in the staging of the invasion in Britain or were on the beaches of France bring the images to life.

Thank you to all of our Veterans and Armed Service members!
