This year deadCenter Film Festival 2026 is coming to Tulsa for two days! While the festival has taken place in Oklahoma City for 26 years, we want to begin planting roots and memories within the Tulsa area as well. Historically, deadCenter Film Festival has brought in over 11,000 people to Oklahoma City in one week's time! With around two hundred films being shown, fourteen parties, free industry panels open to the public, industry mixers and more, deadCenter Film Festival is one of the most exciting parts of the year. With us moving to Tulsa, you can expect all new screening material, panels, mixers, Tulsa based vendors, and more! Mark your calendars for June 26 and 27, and we'll see you there!

In an industrial corner of Busan, South Korea, stands the tiny Jangdaehyun School. It is home to 20 students, all of whom are North Korea defectors. With unprecedented access to a community never seen on film, SCHOOL FOR DEFECTORS gives voice to young people whom the world might otherwise overlook – illuminating not just what they’ve endured, but who they are about to become. What emerges is a deeply human story of hope, youth, and possibility.
Jeremy Workman is a 3 time alumni at deadCenter Film Festival, and his last film, Secret Mall Aparment, won AUDIENCE AWARD: BEST FEATURE at the 2024 deadCenter Film Fest.
Post-film Q&A with Jeremy Workman will wrap by 9:45pm. After that, the party heads across the street to Bar 473 for an afterparty to celebrate the weekend with deadCenter in Tulsa!
