The blockbuster sensation that started it all comes back to the big screen for one week only over Labor Day weekend! Screening one week only Fri 8/29-Thu 9/4 with community partners The Oklahoma Aquarium and Tulsa Global Alliance.

The Oklahoma Aquarium will provide a special introduction at select screenings and the mascot will be in the lobby for fun photo-ops around the film. Thanks to Tulsa Global Alliance, all screenings will include a special video intro from Wendy Benchley, widow of Peter Benchley who wrote the "Jaws" original novel. When a young woman is killed by a shark while skinny-dipping near the New England tourist town of Amity Island, police chief Martin Brody (Roy Scheider) wants to close the beaches, but mayor Larry Vaughn (Murray Hamilton) overrules him, fearing that the loss of tourist revenue will cripple the town. Ichthyologist Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss) and grizzled ship captain Quint (Robert Shaw) offer to help Brody capture the killer beast, and the trio engage in an epic battle of man vs. nature.
