About the film: 1h57min - Pop Musical - Rated PG - English

Originally released in 2007, "Hairspray" is based on the smash-hit Broadway musical, which was in turn based on the classic John Waters 1988 film of the same name. This version has an extra Okie flair, as Stillwater's own James Marsden ("Sonic," "Westworld," "X-Men") as dance host Corny Collins. In 1960s Baltimore, dance-loving teen Tracy Turnblad (Nikki Blonsky) auditions for a spot on "The Corny Collins Show" and wins. She becomes an overnight celebrity, a trendsetter in dance, fun and fashion. Perhaps her new status as a teen sensation is enough to topple Corny's reigning dance queen and bring racial integration to the show.
