Join us for this special screening Sat 6/21, 10:00a – all tickets are donation based with proceeds supporting the Keepin’ It REEL: Script 2 Screen Youth Film Camp and the We R One AAU basketball team! Schedule of events: Red carpet arrival 10-10:30am. Film 10:40am, awards ceremony 11-11:30am.

Tickets are available online or in person at the box office at a ‘pay what you can’ option – your donations and support for the community are greatly appreciated! All proceeds will go directly toward continuing the powerful work of mentoring, storytelling, and providing meaningful opportunities for our young people. When purchasing online through the ticket link, select the number of 'Pay What You Can' tickets you would like to reserve, one for each person attending with you. Click reserve, and on the next screen click the 'Other' box and input the amount you would like to donate per ticket. $10 or $5 per ticket is recommended, but any amount is appreciated to support Keepin' It Reel and We R One AAU basketball.

The event will also include a special honor for local men making a real difference in our community by presenting them with the Ancestor’s Echo Award. This recognition will celebrate and honor the mentorship, leadership, and the everyday impact these men have on our youth.

About the film: “We R One” follows Kode Ransom’s journey of mentorship and community. The film was made as part of the Keepin’ It REEL: Script 2 Screen Youth Film Camp, produced by Dr. Tamecca Rogers and Stephanie Alecia Rose, directed by student filmmaker Keith Ross. The short film focuses on Tulsan Kode Ransom and the tremendous work he has done with the We R One AAU basketball program to empower young people in the community.
