About the film: See the classic Adam Sandler comedy back on the big screen for one day only in celebration of the 30th anniversary. Man-child Billy Madison has been a spoiled rich kid all his life, and spends his days drinking and partying. When his father, hotel magnate Brian, becomes fed up with his son's irresponsible ways, he issues an ultimatum. Since Billy passed all his schooling thanks to his father's influence and bribes, he must retake and pass every grade in 24 weeks. Otherwise, the business will be turned over to Brian's conniving associate, Eric.
About the performers: Kels Cooper is a proud Cherokee and Choctaw comedian from Owasso, OK. She is producer of the record-breaking “Aunties Acting Up” Comedy Showcase and two-time Blue Whale Comedy festival performer. She has performed all over Turtle Island and produces Indigenous Comedy shows throughout Oklahoma.
Ryan Green is a Tulsa, Oklahoma based writer and stand up comic. He has performed with comedians such as Dmitri Martin and Brian Posehn, and is a regular at the Blue Whale Comedy Festival.
Brett Jeffries is a trans comedian who's been making audiences laugh across Oklahoma, Kansas, and Arkansas. She's performed at the Blue Whale Comedy Festival and various venues where her quick wit and bold humor have left a mark (and occasionally a bruise—metaphorically, of course). Known for her unapologetic style and relatable humor, Brett's been banned from multiple Reasor's grocery stores—something she wears like a badge of honor. From wild grocery store mishaps to navigating the ups and downs of life as a trans woman, she’s the kind of comic who will make you laugh until you cry... or at least until you get kicked out of the store too. When she’s not causing a scene in the produce aisle, Brett is busy taking her comedy across the region, proving that laughter is truly the best medicine—unless you're at Reasor's, in which case, it's probably a restraining order.
Zach Amon has worked his way up to being one of Oklahoma’s best comedians. Zach has performed all over the region and has opened for comedians such as Pete Lee, The Red-Nexican Alex Reymundo, Trae Crowder, Ian Fidance, and many more. Zach’s comedy can be described as light hearted darkness with a smile.
