Down Home Blues is a feature length documentary set at the Down Home Blues Club, a historic juke joint in Rentiesville, Oklahoma. Since 2008, Selby Minner hosted Sunday jam sessions there, creating a vibrant gathering place for musicians and community in the small rural town. Selby was tragically killed in the summer of 2025, and the film follows the family of artists and supporters she cultivated as they come together to honor her and her husband D.C.’s legacy – working to keep the Sunday jams and the music alive.
