Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tyler James Is a painter and designer that focuses on flow and expression through his Art. With the form of abstract expression, he uses Painting as a visual journal for how he expresses and understand life and the world around him.
“Reflections of David is a collection of paintings created from a place of understanding Self and reflection. A lot of your “First” as an artist can seem heavy; First events, your First collab, your first show, we think about these things so much that it can seem heavy at times. It can take a lot to build on that and accomplish those things, but it’s something in us that drives us to keep pushing and move forward.
I’ve accomplished a lot of “first” on my art journey, and I have a better sense of purpose and understanding my voice as an artist. It took a lot to reach this point, but it was needed for growth and change. I want to expand creatively and take my Art as far as I can, from paintings to designs with clothes one day and help bring change with my art. These 50 Pieces will help me understand my direction a little bit more." - Tyler James. See more of his work on Instagram @tyl3r_jvmes.
