National Theatre Live: Frankenstein

The fan-favorite production is back on the big screen for spooky season, starring Benedict Cumberbatch as The Creature! Benedict Cumberbatch and Johnny Lee Miller electrify the stage as the creature and Dr. Frankenstein in this adaptation of Mary Shelley’s classic novel. Originally recorded live from London in 2011 and directed by Danny Boyle, Cumberbatch and Miller swapped roles each night for a truly unique production. Childlike in his innocence but grotesque in form, Frankenstein’s bewildered creature is cast out into a hostile universe by his horror-struck maker.
