About the film: 1h45min – Comedy, Crime – Rated R – English
Originally released in 2009, “Leaves of Grass” was Tim Blake Nelson’s first comedy film as a writer and director after previously acclaimed dramas like “Eye of God” and “The Grey Zone.” The film is set in Oklahoma, and Tim filmed as much of the movie in Oklahoma as possible. The stoner comedy follows an Ivy League professor (Edward Norton) who returns home when his pot-growing twin brother (also Edward Norton) has concocted a plan to take down a local drug lord. Also featuring Keri Russell, Susan Sarandon, and Tim Blake Nelson himself in a supporting role.
