Powered by Experience Tulsa, Okie Film Nights celebrate our state's rich film history. This month, see beloved Tulsan Peggy Dow Helmerich on the big screen opposite James Stewart in the 1950 classic "Harvey." All tickets just $5 each!

Before the film, a special tribute reel to Peggy will play created by Arts Alliance Tulsa for a 2014 awards ceremony. The newsreel-style clip cover's Peggy's earlier career as a Hollywood star in films  like "Harvey," "Bright Victory," and "I Want You." Peggy starred in nine films before she met Tulsa oilman Walt Helmerich. The two quickly fell in love, and Peggy moved to Tulsa with Walt to focus on raising their family and philanthrophy work. Peggy and Walt's work through the Helmerich Foundation, established in 1965, has contributed greatly to Tulsa's development and culture.
