Kick off the festival with a special presentation of two short films by filmmaker Reese Wood, a senior at Charles Page High School - tickets just $5 each!

47min - Shorts - English - Screen 1

First short “Don’t Overthink It” (7min): When a student finds himself stuck in the seemingly endless loop of monotony that is his everyday life, he gets a recommendation from his therapist to think about his day from a different angle.

Second short “The Tragedy of Waylon Jeffrey” (40min): Social outcast Waylon Jeffrey has many qualms with the things that go on in his high school, from public displays of affection to vaping in bathrooms. Once he takes matters into his own hands to change the social climate of his school, he quickly spirals down a path of corruption in his quest to become class president.
