The event begins with the feature length documentary Route 66: An American Odyssey from director John Paget. After the feature, see exclusive new interview clips filmed at Circle Cinema featuring Michael Wallis in conversation with John Paget about Route 66. To close the event, a trailer for John's new film Route 66: The Main Street of America will play, and the film will have a 2026 Tulsa premiere at Circle Cinema as it tours Route 66 during the centennial!

About Route 66: The Main Street of America: The film will premiere as a moving celebration: a cross-country film screening tour down Historic Route 66. Partnering with local entities along the historic highway (Main Street programs, downtown associations, tourism bureaus and chambers of commerce), we’ll screen the film at 26 select drive-ins and historic theaters from Chicago to LA. These screenings will be multi-faceted community celebration events, with live entertainment, crew and characters from the film, and other special guests from local stretches of Route 66.
