About the film: The Swim Meet is a live recording of local Tulsa bands, which was later pressed into an album commemorating the performances. The event closes out Tulsa Music Month every July and in 2025, the second edition of the series, six of the hardest working bands came together to write their own love letter to Tulsa.

The soulful sounds of Micaela Young kicked things off before Poppa Foster’s Goodtime Band and Fiawna Forte’ took the stage. Known for their fun-loving vibe, Poppa Foster’s Goodtime Band got the crowd going before the powerful Fiawna Forte’ took the stage and made her presence felt with her robust sound and thought-provoking lyrics.

Bucky and the Bookworms brought the energy and passion for the music with a memorable set that would be at home at any festival. The uninhibited country-rock sounds of Bronco Henryetta brought their best to the stage and did not disappoint. Their exhilarating performance was riveting.

Aqueduct closed out the night with a triumphant return to Tulsa. Thrilling the crowd with their unique sound, Aqueduct played several of their classic hits and was the longest set of the night. The intoxicating sound was electrifying and the performance was the perfect way to close out Tulsa Music Month.
