RUN TIME

Join us for a special event celebrating the life and work of Tulsa artist Steve Erwin! Sat 8/1, see a new short film The Illustrator from director Todd Kent about Steve's art and legacy, followed by a Q&A with Todd and more guests to be announced. Part of Steve's work with DC Comics included the art for the official Batman Returns adaptation, so after the short we'll play the classic 1992 film back on the big screen! Plus, come early for extras in the lobby starting at 5pm with comic displays, vendors, and more. The Q&A with The Illustrator will be moderated by Jimmie Tramel, Tulsa World pop culture writer and a lifelong comic fan.

Tickets on sale now, $13 Circle members and $15 non-members.

About The Illustrator: Steve Erwin was a mild mannered artist from Tulsa, Oklahoma who went on to work on some of the most beloved DC Comics heroes and villains and co-created characters and concepts currently being utilized in the films and television projects of DC Studios. Gone before his time, The Illustrator chronicles his artistic endeavors and legendary comic book creators celebrate his legacy.
